Description of Network
The CNRS and Univ Eiffel have developed a network of observatories focusing on the study of water, energy and matter flows in contrasting urban environments . The network of partners in the Service National d’Observation (SNO) Observil, supported by OSUNA, has set up a permanent framework for pooling and storing environmental observations in urban environments, enabling comparisons to be made of urban and soil and climate contexts in 11 urban areas. This network is part of the IR OZCAR, which aims to put its scientific expertise in the study of anthropogenic forcings on natural environments at the service of territorial transition . Within SNO Observil, 3 observatories in urban hydrology led by LEESU, DEEP and GERS/LEE and gathered in the URBIS network (OPUR in the Paris metropolitan area, OTHU in Lyon metropole, and ONEVU in Nantes Metropole) collaborated for an improved knowledge of stormwater pollution through a data sharing effort.
Project Lead : Fabrice RODRIGUEZ (LEE - Univ. Gustave Eiffel) , Jean Nabucet (LETG - Univ Rennes 2).
Data Manager : Jules KOUADIO (LEE - Univ. Gustave Eiffel) .
