Kerkini weather station

The Lake Kerkini Management Authority has installed a meteorological station, as well as accompanying software and equipment for the tele – transfer and storage of data. The station is located on an observation tower in the port of Kerkini village, in the protected area of Lake Kerkini in the Lake Kerkini National Park.The information collected includes rainfall, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction data.
