Description
This area is used for a long-term study of increased intesity forestry, including full-nutrient fertilizing of young forests, using latest breeding material and fast-growing tree species when regenerating the forest.
The area is monitored, concerning nutrients leaving the area through 12 watersheds, vegetation and insect studies.
The area has been documented several times with LIDAR at low elevation, for full-cover, high-resolution data of the area, including tree and forest dynamics.
