Abstract
The 2011 update of the 2006 Land Use is derived from the photo-interpretation of the new areas with a minimum cartographic unit of 2,500 sqm on the 2011 Orthophoto. The 2011 update complies with the European standard defined with the CORINE Land Cover project (with IV level expansion) and involves the characterization of the legend in 69 classes.

Method Description
2011 land use update 2006 is derived from the photo interpretation of the new areas on the orthoto 2011. The orthophoto with 50 cm pixels and was created from the satellite images, WorldView-2 and GeoEye, of 2011.

The thematic and geometric features of the upgrade to 2011 are the same as those used for land use 2006
