Abstract
This dataset contains information about the land cover and land use changes occurred for the time period 1957-2007 in an arid area of southeastern Spain. Such time frame was divided in three sub periods, i.e., 1956-1999, 1999-2003, 2003-2007. Three change processes was estimated: intensification, naturalization, neutral and no change in each ecoregion.
