Bird survey in the lowlands of Northeast Germany 1999-2002

The dataset contains of a regional bird species list and abundance values for their regional occurrence. The data was obtained by a survey, that was covering an area of about 200km². Five line transects each of 25 km length were investigated 5times a year for the years 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002. The survey was repeated from 2013 till 2015 in the equal manner, the same methodology and personal. The method for the survey ist the point-stopp-counting. Together with the bird data excessive data on biotope structure on the single observation points and detailed land use data is available upon request.
