Abstract
MAZSALACA, SOIL MOISTURE DATA, Assessment of soil moisture was performed once per year in August/September on 3 Scots pine forest sample plots of different stand age: plot P1 - 30-40-year old; plot P2 - 50-70-year old, and plot P3 - 150-200 year old (at the beginning of study).

Method Description
Ten 50 mm aluminium tins with soil upper layer (5 cm) samples were randomly collected on each sample plot. Moss and litter was removed prior to sampling. Soil moisture was determined gravimetrically. Average value of soil moisture (%) was calculated for each sample plot
